Amidst the grief, hope emerged in the form of two tiny black furballs – Rylee and Little Ippy. Rescued from an uncertain fate, they became the inspiration behind Rippy’s Playhouse. Dedicated to educating cat owners and honoring Lyric’s memory, our site aims to make a difference, one purr at a time.
Covid 2020
Fast forward to the pandemic era, where bonds were tested and resilience was forged. Lyric, the glue that held everything together, was diagnosed with kidney disease, breaking hearts and reshaping priorities. Her passing left a void, but also a profound lesson in responsibility and sacrifice.
How It All Began
Picture this: a noisy cat named Lyric enters the scene, changing lives and leaving her mark on two Afro-Caribbean kids who grew up in a household where pets were seen as mere commodities. Lyric became family, providing solace and companionship amidst the chaos of life.
